Shipping and Deliveries 

Shipping costs in NZ dollars


FREE urban shipping for orders over $79 (and weighing less than 2.99 kg. Extra charges apply for food, bulk/ heavy or rural delivery)

for orders below $79 

  • less than 2.99 kg - $ 7.50 urban, 10.50 rural
  • over 3 kg - $ 10 urban, 13 rural

Orders over $79 and 

  • Under 2.99kg – FREE
  • over 3 kg -   $10urban, 13 rural   

 

Shipping cost is based on delivery location (rural as determined by courier)  and weight of items purchased. The shipping charges are automatically calculated and added to the total cost at check out. 


Once you have added your desired items to cart and entered the relevant delivery address, the shipping costs will be displayed to you so you can see exactly what the shipping charges are before you proceed to payment. 


We endeavour to dispatch your items within 24-48 hours of placing an order. Please note that some items are dispatched from our warehouse service provider. If you have ordered multiple items, these may arrive in separate packages. 

 

How will my order be delivered?
Post Pet Meds has partnered with New Zealand Couriers and NZ post to deliver orders. You can expect your order to be delivered between Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays) and generally during normal business hours 8am – 6pm. 
Our carriers will leave your parcel at a secure location on your premises. To improve the delivery experience, there is a signature courier option for non- rural addresses. 


For “signature required” deliveries, if you are not at home when the courier driver arrives, a calling card will be left for you to arrange the delivery options with the courier directly.  


We recommend “signature required” as we cannot be responsible for parcels being stolen from delivery addresses. 
Once your items have been dispatched to the carrier, you will be emailed the tracking details for your order. You can check the most recent tracking details for your order on the relevant websites:

  • Urban 1-3 days
  • Rural 3-5 days 


Lost or damaged parcels


If your parcel is showing as delivered but you have not received the parcel, please ensure that you have checked your premises for any possible safe places that the carrier may have placed your parcel. If you are still unable to locate the parcel, please contact us within 7 days of despatch and we will be able to lodge a query with the carrier. Please note that if your parcel is missing or damaged and you do not notify us within the 7 days, we will be unable to lodge a query or make any claims with the carrier. 
For damaged items please contact us in the first instance. 


Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we ship to? 
We ship to New Zealand South and North islands physical addresses. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer shipping to outer island regions at this time (Waiheke, Great Barrier Island, Stewart Island, Chatham Island) 
We do not ship internationally. 
We are unable to ship to Private bags, PO Box addresses, parcel lockers. 


What if a customer entered the wrong delivery address?
Please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to change the delivery address before your order is shipped and scanned into the courier system. If it has already been shipped, we can contact the courier to try retrieve your order. This is sometimes not possible. Please note that additional charges may apply
