What are the shipping costs?

 

Shipping charges

Urban $ 7.50

Rural $ 10. 50

 

Prescription medications $ 10.50

 

The shipping charges are automatically calculated and added to the total cost at check out.

Once you have added your desired items to cart and entered the relevant delivery address, the shipping costs will be displayed to you so you can see exactly what the shipping charges are before you proceed to payment.

Extra shipping charges may apply for bulk and oversized items as determined by Post Pet Meds

 

 

Where do we ship to?

We ship to New Zealand South and North islands physical addresses. Unfortunately, We are unable to offer shipping to outer island regions at this time (Waiheke, Great Barrier Island, Stewart Island, Chatham Island)

We do not ship internationally.

We are unable to ship to Private bags, PO Box addresses, parcel lockers.

 

What if a customer entered the wrong delivery address?

Please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to change the delivery address before your order is shipped and scanned into the courier system. If it has already been shipped, we can contact the courier to try retrieve your order. This is sometimes not possible. Please note that additional charges may apply

 

 

What is auto-ship?

Auto-ship is a feature that allows you to get your desired item shipped automatically to you at a frequency you select.

This can be used for eligible items like food, treats, supplements, flea and worm preventatives. Auto ship helps you save time and  save even more money off our already low daily prices. Get 20% off your first autoship product order and 5% off subsequent orders of that item.

Post Pet Meds reserves the right to discontinue any promotions , sales, discounts.

 

How do I pay for autoship?

A credit card is needed for this feature. Your card will be billed each time by payment gateway Stripe before your next order is shipped.

Afterpay and PoLi, Direct debits cannot be used for subscription orders. These can however be used for single time purchases.

(Afterpay not available on prescription medication purchases)

 

Can I just order items once?

Yes. You can use guest check out to make single time purchases as many times as you like.

 

Do I need to make an account?

No. You can make single time purchases using guest checkout at any time or as many times as you like.

However, some services such as auto-ship or pet prescription medication orders require you to make an account to fulfill your order. Creating an account gives you control over selecting your order frequency, updating mailing information, payment information or cancellation. If you have any questions or need help with your autoship subscription please do not hesitate to contact us.

How can change the item/ type of item, frequency  on my autoship orders after I created a subscription?

If you would like to keep the autoship function but change the frequency of an order, product ( for example flavour of foods, weight bracket for a flea treatment) the best way to do this is to cancel the original autoship subscription and create a new one for the desired product. 

 

How can I cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible so we can try to stop the order from being shipped. Please note that some items get shipped from warehouse facilities. If your order was already scanned into the courier service, it is the customer's responsibility to return the item and pay for return shipping costs.

Please review items in the cart before final check out to ensure they are correct.

 

When can I expect my order?

Below are the estimated delivery times once your order has been dispatched. However, there may be times when there are delays due to unforeseen circumstances. We aim to ship your order within 24-48 hours ( normal working days) of receiving your order ( exception for pet prescription medicines- for details please refer to Pet Prescriptions ). Orders are processed between Monday - Friday ( closed on public holidays and weekends).  Orders made over the weekend or on public holidays will be processed the next usual  business day. Weekend shipping not avialable.

Urban 1-2 days

Rural 2-3 days

Occassionally there may be delays due to conditions beyond our control and during holiday periiods ( eg Christmas and New Years).

 

What payment options are there?

We accept a wide range of payments via several  internationally recognised and secure gateways: Stripe, POLi, Paypal and Afterpay. Options include: Visa, Mastercard, Google pay, Apple pay, Bank Transfer, Paypal, Afterpay.

All our online payment platforms have very strict security features that meet internationally required standards.

Post Pet meds does not store any payment information. All payment details are managed by our payment gateway providers.

Please note that certain payment options may not be available for certain services or class of items due to their individual policies.

 

Do you have click and collect?

We do not have a click and collect store opened to the public at this time.

 

We are an online business but will  look into this in the future.

 

Returns, Exchange and Refunds policy.

 

At Post Pet Meds we aim for customer satisfaction and happy pets. Please read our Returns, Exchange and Refunds policy carefully

Please choose carefully and review items in cart before final check out as we do not refund unless your item/s are faulty.

 

Post Pet Meds cannot offer refunds, exchange, or returns on certain items (including due to change of mind) .  Please see details below:

 

Products that cannot be returned to Post Pet Meds or refunded:

  • Pet Food ( opened and unopened)
  • treats
  • perishable items
  • Items that require storage at specific temperatures
  • supplements
  • sale items
  • Products not in original , resale conditions
  • over the counter pet medications
  • Items marked as non-returnable

 

 

Post Pet Meds reserved the absolute right to determine if items meet resale condition.

Customers are responsible for bearing costs associated with shipping returned items ( except in cases of faulty or defective items)

 

Faulty/ defective  products:

Please contact us via email within 7 days of receipt of your order. Email info@postpetmends.co.nz

Please include the order number and invoice in your email.

 

We are happy to accept returns of eligible products provided that they are returned within 30 days of purchase and are in original packing and unused condition.

Please note that veterinary prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded in accordance with ACVM regulations.

 

 

If you need to return an item, please contact us at info@postpetmeds.co.nz  before mailing the item.

 

Returns

  1. Returns must be received within 30 days of purchase of the items.
  2. Please include a copy of receipt with the returned items
  3. Items must be clean, unused, in good condition and in the original packaging. (also free of fur)
  4. The original shipping charges are non- refundable.  
  5. Customers are responsible for paying the return shipping costs (except where you received the wrong item in error due to us or a defective item).
  6. Remember to package the item securely to protect during transit, similarly to when delivered.

Refunds (if applicable)

 

We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee.

Shipping fees, credit card fees, processing fees, banking fees, administrative fees are non-refundable.

For refund requests, the returned items must be clean, unused, in good condition and in the original packaging.

When we have received and checked the returned item, we will send you an email update. We will inform you if the refund request has been approved or declined. For approved refunds, the credit will be applied to the original card of purchase. Please note that funds may take up to two weeks ( 14 business days) to show up in your account.

In the case of a defective item, a replacement or refund can be arranged on receipt of the returned item.
